3rd Annual Chess and Science Festival has taken place on Saturday, November 7th at Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium in Tucson, AZ.

All-Girls Tournament attracted 30 girls – our all-time high! Girls, ages 5 – 15 y.o., came from all over Arizona to compete in the All-Girls Tournament and participate in the numerous science activities. As before, their parents, siblings and hundreds of visitors came to participate in the Festival, cheer for the girls and support the cause. Mayor of Tucson, Jonathan Rothschild, came to address the girls and encourage their envolvement in chess, science and other intellectual areas.
